Buyer questions about membranes and OEM supply

How do housewrap, WRB and breathable membrane terms relate?

They are overlapping market terms, not a guarantee of identical performance. Confirm layer position, water resistance, vapor data, strength, UV exposure and the test methods required for the target market.

Should I choose a roofing underlayment or facade membrane?

Start with the assembly. Roof pitch, covering, ventilation, temporary exposure and drainage differ from a ventilated facade or framed-wall WRB application, so the product specification should be matched to the intended position.

What information is needed for an OEM or private-label quotation?

Provide the application, target test method or declared value, construction, basis weight or thickness, width, roll length, printing, color, packaging, volume and destination.
